The Huff Post Problem (+bonus)

I could for the near future keep on posting SRP stories and be perfectly happy with that. But I came across this piece and was like hmm? I don't know much about this Adam Carolla. I understand he has no relation to the Toyota small car. He has a radio show. I have never listened to it. I think I have read he is a Libertarian. Anyways, he calls out the Huffington Post pretty hard. Now if you are a payer of attention to anything you all ready know that the Huff Post has only a few rules. One, report all negative conservative and GOP stories. Two, report negatively or under report conservative and GOP stories that can not be spun negatively. Three, support Progressives and Democrats when ever possible, especially the up and coming ones like Elizabeth Warren. They love them some Elizabeth Warren. They had to break, well, suspend those rules the other day with Rand Paul's filibuster. They couldn't just keep silent about the filibuster, but chose to focus on the drone collateral damage issues then the bill of rights issue that SRP was talking about, but what ever. One thing the Huff does is report news, or at least doesn't avoid news, unlike the MSM, who more often than not will ignor big stuff.

Anyway, some clown from the Huff wrote something on Carolla and it didn't come across as Adam said he said it. And he decided not to lay down. I admire that. This is him calling out the Huff, where they need to be called out. They front paged everything about Sandy Hook and have run pro gun control everything since the shooting. But it is very hard to find anything about all the killings in Chicago or anything about gun rights. But they love them some free speech and abortion. Those are good rights. There is a reason why the only reason I go to the Huff is to get a Left approved version of a news story, but most of the time I just don't go there at all.

Oh, and here is a bonus, good for the CAPT (USN retired) for excersizing your rights, just don't get in front of a camera with your shot in the head wife and say we shouldn't be able to have what you just bought. But then suddenly, after he was spoted an reported on, he says he is going to turn it over to the police. Oh, so you just droped $1000 bucks to get one more AR out of a gun store, unlikely. Liberal hypocrisy, likely.

"Sunlight Is The Best Disinfectant"

Well fellow citizens and fellow lovers of liberty today was a glorious day. Senator Rand Paul. Wow. That was incredible stuff. The act was incredible. The stamina was in incredible. The topic was incredible. The help was incredible. I can say this was one of the best days of my life in relation to the relationship and feelings I have towards my government. This is a perfect example of how things are supposed to be. How passionate the people we send to Washington should be about our freedoms, our rights and our liberty. This is how vigorous every debate should be. This is precisely why we need debate. On everything. This is what you freaking get paid to do. This is why no budget has passed, there has been no debate. This is why we are now infected with Obamacare, the debate was short and it was rammed either up something or down something, but for sure was rammed. Back to the positive. I have said it before, but today, I am overflowing with patriotism and love of country. I cannot express through words the amount of gratitude and admiration I have for all who were involved with today’s filibuster. Good job and hats off to you gentlemen. And thank you Senator Rand Paul.

On a slightly fictional note, or reality disguised as fiction, this thought came to mind sometime in the last hour of the filibuster. Rand Paul is either a terminator or a human who has been sent back in time as Kyle Reese was to stop Skynet from ever being created. He has chosen or has been chosen and directed to stop the rise of the drones legislatively and not by directed killings. I have a feeling he is a human sent back and not a terminator. I also think that he was an actual (legitimate) constitutional scholar from the future who saw just how bad we effed up such a great system we had set up by our founding fathers and that his mission has was to come back and correct the course of our country. I could be one generation off on this theory, meaning that Ron Paul is the actual man from the future and since arriving back in our time (1960’s) realized it would take more time than one man has to make the needed changes in our current system so he trained his son to carry on and hopefully complete the mission. Only a few know the truth and only the future will tell if he succeeds or not. Stay tuned in the future for a continuation and more details on this story.

UPDATE (10:55 AM HST): I am loving this way too much. Just had the Senator from Texas read the final letter from the Alamo. He asked Senator Paul if this gave him strength and sustenance. It did, as well as it gave this blogger the same. Awesome! 

UPDATE (1:14 PM HST): Coming up on the 6.5 hour mark. This is so incredible. Robotic elimination, signature strikes. If he says the word Skynet, I am making a tin hat. Stand by for photos if that goes down.
